Subject	Do brake calipers go bad?

Message	I have had the z1 big brake kit for a little while now. Now my brakes make like a popping noise when I push them hard at slow speeds. The pad on the outside on the passenger side is rubbing my rotor as well. It is just barely rubbing. It doesn't even cause the car to pull right or anything. I can't even tell it's touching except for when I jack the car up and spin the wheel, then I can hear it a little and see it. Should I buy a new caliper?
